Join us for a focused Iyengar Yoga workshop integrating the beginner twisting asanas with an examination of the kleshas—the five mental afflictions outlined in classical yoga philosophy that cloud perception and contribute to suffering.
Twisting postures will be used as practical tools to create conditions for observing the kleshas: ignorance, ego, attachment, aversion, and clinging. This workshop emphasizes embodied inquiry to support increased self-awareness both on and off the mat.

If you are interested in beginning a yoga practice, this is the place to start! The Beginner class is taught from scratch. There is no level of fitness, flexibility or experience required AT ALL. Age is also no barrier. The session is a progressive and systematic curriculum which sees you progress weekly and build on your understanding and skill, one class at a time. Even if you have a little experience or have practiced another style of yoga, you will benefit from attending the Beginner class.

This class is designed for students who are new to yoga and prefer to move at a slower, more accessible pace. It’s especially well-suited for seniors and anyone who needs modifications due to joint stiffness or limited range of motion. Beginner poses are taught with a demonstration and clear instruction by the teacher. Yoga Chairs and props—provided in the studio—are used to support comfort, alignment, and safety. Build strength, improve mobility and balance, and gain confidence in a welcoming and supportive environment.

This class is designed for students who are familiar with the beginner yoga poses and ready to explore them in more depth. We move at a slower pace where modifications and props are incorporated to support student’s needs, offering a safe environment to refine your practice. Build strength, improve flexibility and balance in a welcoming and supportive environment.

For students who’ve been coming to Iyengar yoga classes. The asanas are studied in more detail and inversions are practiced.

This class offers an introduction to pranayama. We begin by preparing the body through mindful breath awareness and supported restorative postures that release tension and gently open the body. This preparation allows students to perceive the breath more clearly and to recognize the subtle rhythms of inhalation and exhalation. Foundational pranayama practices, including basic Ujjayi and Viloma, are first introduced in supported positions and later practiced in seated postures.
Pranayama serves as a bridge between the physical practice of asana and deeper inward awareness. This class is suitable for dedicated yoga practitioners with prior experience in Iyengar yoga.

Kim is available for private, or semi private sessions for students who would like to learn how yoga can be integrated into an overall health plan to help with many common conditions people experience.
